Discovery session: hand building class

About the Class

Join this discovery session for our hand building classes. In the six week class you will learn the fundamental techniques of pottery hand-building and create a wide variety of unique ceramic pieces, from decorative home items to functional dishes, planters, vases, sculptures, and more! Master key hand-building methods such as coiling, pinching, and slab building while exploring a diverse range of decorating and glazing techniques to bring your creations to life. This session is great for those of you who are considering signing up for the regular class. Fee Includes: Classes, all materials, kiln-firing, coloured and clear glaze, tuition, and tools will be supplied at the studio. Please wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting messy, flat shoes and tie long hair back. Remove arm and hand jewellery and have short nails if possible. Suitable for: all levels, including beginners. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver, who will also need to pay to attend the course.
